Large solar farm topographic survey
Pre-construction topographic survey and setting-out for a utility-scale solar development, delivering grading models and block layouts for the EPC team.
The challenge
The EPC contractor needed accurate ground levels and a grading model across a large parcel before module-block layout and civil design could begin.
Our approach
Drone topographic capture combined with DGPS control produced a dense DEM and contour set, from which we generated grading volumes and set out module blocks and access roads.
The outcome
A construction-ready dataset — DEM, contours, grading plan and setting-out — that let the developer move straight into civil execution.
